There are various ways in which to perform a vacancy search: |
|
|
- Use the drop down boxes in the 'Find a Job' section and click on the Search button.
- Make the search more specific by selecting the 'More Search Options>>' link in the 'Find a Job' section.
- Search for a specific vacancy by entering a vacancy reference number and clicking on the 'Search Job Ref' button in the 'Find a Job' section.
- Perform a directory search by choosing from the links in the 'Vacancies In..' section on the home page.

|
- Division, Location and Salary drop downs are more accurate than Free Text Searches.
- Keep the searches simple (i.e. just search on a division) and if you get too many results back, refine the search by adding more specific search topics.
- If you get more than 10 vacancies back use the next page button on the top right of the screen to view the rest.

- If you have got a vacancy reference number from one of our advertisements, enter it into the search ref box and then click on the 'Search Job Ref' button.

- You can use any combination of the drop down boxes to find your vacancy by choosing the relevant option in each box and then clicking on the search button.
- You can also perform a directory search by selecting the links in the 'Vacancies In..' section on the home page .

- In the 'Find a Job' section, click on the 'More Search Options>>' link. Enter keywords into the 'Free Text' box that apply to a vacancy for which you are searching and click on the Search button.

- After you have searched for a vacancy, just click on the job title of the vacancy in which you are interested to view the full details.
|

The briefcase is designed to make your life easier when trying to select the right job for you. |
|
|
- If a vacancy takes your fancy, just add it to your briefcase and continue your search, adding any others in which you are interested. When you've finished your search you can go into your briefcase to review the vacancies that you selected. From here you can remove any unwanted vacancies and apply to those jobs in which you are interested.
- If you choose to apply to jobs in your briefcase your details will be registered with us. They will then be passed on to your consultant who will contact you to discuss your needs and help find the right job for you.

- You can do this by clicking on the 'Add to Briefcase' link at the top of the vacancy description page.

- You can do this by clicking on the 'Apply/Edit' link on the Briefcase icon in the right-hand navigation bar.

Click on the 'Apply/Edit' link on the briefcase icon to take you to your briefcase jobs.
From here you can either: |
|
|
- Click on the 'Apply Now to your Briefcase Jobs' button. This will register your interest in all jobs in your briefcase.
- Select individual jobs within your briefcase and click on the 'Apply Now' button in the vacancy description itself.

- You can apply to a vacancy by clicking on the 'Apply Now' button in the vacancy description page, or by using the briefcase (please see the briefcase links on this page for further details).
- Once your details have been registered with us your consultant will contact you to help place you in your chosen vacancy.

- You can register with us either through applying for a vacancy (as detailed in the other sections of this page) or by using the Express Services 'Send a CV' link. This will take you to the main registration page. For more details on Express Services, please see the relevant link.

There are 4 express services: |
|
|
- Send CV - This link will take you to a basic registration page on which you can attach your CV.
- Call Back - This link will take you to a basic form from which you can request that a consultant calls you back at a time convenient to you.
- Job Alerts - This links to the Job Alert page where you can either log on as an existing user or setup a new account.
This service allows you to specify certain criteria for the sort of job in which you are interested. Emails are sent to you whenever a new job vacancy is posted on the website which matches the criteria that you have set.
- Voucher for a Friend - This is an ongoing promotion that Independent Appointments and Adjusting Appointments is running that offers you the chance to receive up to £600 of vouchers if you recommend a friend to us that we go on to successfully place in employment.
